A mortal (or so) created to roam the earth by god, and is given a chest in which she cannot open. She did, the chest is full with undesirable emotions such as jealousy, angst, greed, and such and such. Because she opened the chest, the undesired emotions came flowing out, and that is how we have our seven sins.
